October Card Buffet!!!

WOW!! Where has the past two months gone??

We've been busy with the kids and trying to get the end of summer things done.

Here's my October Class, it's a CARD BUFFET!!

Here's how it works:

There will be a "menu" to choose from, you only make the cards that you like. If you really like a card, make 2 of it!!

You start at 10:00 by picking out a card from the "menu" and taking that box to your "table". You make the card then put everything back into the box and return it. Grab a new box and continue at your own pace until 1:00 p.m.

At 1:00 p.m, the "kitchen" is closed. You count up how many cards you made. Up to 8 cards is $20. Any over eight are $2.50 each.

At this time, the "waiting area" opens and you can order any SU! merchandise from the current catalogs. If you place an order of $30 or more, you can choose another two cards to make, FREE!!

Black & White Rag Bag

Here is the Rag Bag that I started just THREE hours before leaving to get on the plane to head to Salt Lake City for Convention.

Good thing I've mastered the art of sewing straight lines and whipped this out in 1 1/2 hours, giving me just enough time to shower and pack before heading to the airport!! I wish I would have had another 2 hours to snip, wash, and dry it. Oh Well!

It's amazing what you can get done when you don't go to sleep for over 40 hours!!! The excitement leading up to Convention is overwhelming!!

I knew Celisa liked black and white and polka dots. I found the cute owl fabric that kind of goes along with SU! new owl punch. It has two small pockets on each side.

Here is the "inside" of the bag.

This is the first bag that I've used a different fabric pattern for the inside. It also has two small pockets on each side. So the outside has the ragged edges and the inside has the clean seams. Kinda Cool!!

Convention 2010

What a FUN week!!

I've returned home from the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Although I miss all of my stampin friends, old and new, I'm glad I'm back home with my kids.
